Broadway Bound Players invites all Franklin Township youths ages
10 to 18 to compete in “Franklin Township Idol 2009” for a
chance to sing at the township Community Day on Sept. 12. The
contest is open to individual performers only (no groups) in
three age categories:
Informational meeting will be held 7 p.m. Monday, July 20 at
the Franklin Township Community Center, 1584 Coles Mill Road,
Franklinville.
Preliminary auditions: 6 p.m. Aug. 27, Delsea High School.
Final round: 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, Delsea High School.

The auditions will be closed to the public;
only judges will be present.
Contestants will perform a 90-second piece a capella (voice
only).
Five contestants from each age group will move
to the final round on Friday Aug. 28.
A winner and two runner-ups will be chosen by
the judges from each age group.
Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded to the Top 3 in each
age group.
The Top 3 in each age group will perform at Community Day on
Sept. 12, 2009.
